Bring your taste buds and prepare for the unexpected. Pair barbeque with beer in a tasty tasting event that says hello to your mouth.

Sweet P’s Downtown Dive on Jackson Street in Downtown Knoxville
“Taste and Toast” supports The Joy of Music School. For $15 you get Sweet P’s award-winning food plus a beer!
Chris Ford, owner, is a musician to the bone, having toured and paid his dues playing the blues. But he’s traded in week after week on the road for the day-in-day-out life of a restaurateur. And he’s very good at it! He and his brother Jonathan run Sweet P’s Barbeque and Soul House AND Sweet P’s Downtown Dive (the location of the “Taste and Toast” event). They’ve turned their attention this month to supporting the work of our volunteer teachers with kids who have the talent, but who lack the means to acquire a quality music education.
The menu features Smoked Jerk Chicken Quarters with collard greens and fried plantains with blueberry ketchup. The beer partner is Blue Pants Brewery.
The School gets a portion of every ticket sold. Come on downtown!
